Maple Syrup Diet and Cayenne Pepper Diet
The maple syrup diet is based on a drink made from the sap of the palm trees and maple. This diet is similar to the cayenne pepper diet in both its calorie count and its duration. This is also known as the lemon detox and it was introduced over 30 years ago. It was initially for cleansing purposes but with time it became popular for weight loss. It also helps clear your skin, get healthy hair as well as stronger nails. The drink itself comprises:
• Two tablespoons of the natural tree syrup (20 milliliters)
• 2 tablespoons of lemon which should be freshly squeezed
• Half a pint of water, this could be hot or cold
• A pinch of cayenne pepper or ginger

You can drink as much as you like but the recommended amount is six to nine glasses in a day. There are about four diet plans that you can choose from and the first is the full diet plan. This is where you decide to survive on the drink for 10 days. It is recommended that if you are a beginner start with 5 to 7 days. If you feel capable then the diet can go for 14 days consecutive. You can do that after consulting your physician.
The second diet plan is the relaxed version where you can substitute your breakfast or dinner with two or three glasses of these syrup. You can also choose to substitute both meals with supervision from your physician. You should however avoid processed foods, sweets, fried food, dairy products, white bread and coffee.
The third diet plan is known as the once-a-week version which means you skip meals on a single day of the week to have the syrup. The last diet plan is known as the master plan where you combine the once a week and have the 10 day diet plan twice a year. The maple syrup diet helps you lose weight because your calorie intake decreases.
